For much of my life, I believed—and was conditioned/programmed to believe—that “J-sus” perfectly kept the law because he had to as the spotless Lamb of G-d, but this was only to be until his death. What I find intriguing is this: if he only upheld the law flawlessly until his death, why did he dedicate his entire ministry to living it, preaching it, promoting it, and confronting religious leaders who failed to keep it if he knew it would all go away when he died? Wouldn’t it be worth asking why he would model a life of perfect obedience, urge his followers to do the same—telling them to be perfect as the Father is—only for his death to render it all meaningless?
Do Christians even have an answer for this? I suppose they, just like I did, would say he had to otherwise his sacrifice would no longer be the perfect sacrifice. But when you confront this response and then ask if lying, cheating, stealing or murder is now okay because the law no longer applies, everybody spews the tired old argument about the moral law always applying; however, this only leads to deeper consideration: why do so many Christians maintain that the moral law still applies while claiming the rest was abolished when scripture makes no distinction between moral, ceremonial, and civil laws? Better yet, if his sacrifice truly nullified the law in its entirety, then on what basis do these moral principles remain? It is clearly inconsistent to claim that some parts of the law endure while others are obsolete, especially when Messiah himself upheld and taught the law as a unified whole.
I think it’s high time we all face reality. There is a Christian “J-sus” that leads an army of believers into the fray doggedly beating a drum that thunders- we are not under the Law. We are not under the Law.
We are not under the Law…
And he is a serious departure from what the True Messiah of the scriptures tells his followers.
I want to remind you dear reader, that Joshua of Nazareth was not merely a prophet or a miracle worker—He was a master teacher of Torah. Everything He taught, lived, and exemplified was deeply rooted in the instructions of His Father, Yahweh. Yet today, many believe that following the Torah (“instructions”) is either unnecessary, contrary to faith, or worst of all, curses a person. How did we arrive at this misunderstanding? And more importantly, what does it mean for us today to truly “walk as He walked” (1 John 2:6)?
I know in my last post we explored how he was a Torah teacher, but today I want to cover why fulfilling the Torah does not mean abolishing it, the historical development of Christianity’s rejection of Torah, and finally, what it truly means to “walk” (παραπατέω parapeteó) in Yahweh’s instructions as a student—one deeply committed to following in the Master’s footsteps.
He Said, “Don’t Even THINK It!”
This week I posted a video on TikTok (yes, I have been posting a little!) and I cannot emphasize enough how many Christians made comments like this: “J-sus fulfilled the law this is why we don’t need to keep it anymore.” They all sounded like little lemmings one after another (don’t get me wrong, I was a lemming too once), it was like a single chorus, “I’m not under the law, I’m under grace”.
“Do not think that I came to destroy the Torah or the Prophets. I did not come to destroy but to fulfill.” (Matthew 5:17)
Many take the word “fulfill” to mean “bring to an end,” but this is a grave misunderstanding. The Hebrew mindset sees “fulfill” (pléroó in Greek) as bringing something to its full expression or proper understanding. Yahshua didn’t come to terminate Torah but to show its full depth and intent. My greatest desire is for Christians to insert abolish for the word fulfill and read it to themselves and ask, does this make sense?
“Do not think that I came to abolish the Torah or the Prophets. I did not come to destroy but to abolish.”
I mean, seriously? I did not come to abolish the law, but to abolish it? That’s what Christians are saying he said! I said it too! And when you confront them on it, that’s when they bring up the moral law. But again, throughout His teachings, Joshua repeatedly emphasized Torah observance and if it was all going away, wouldn’t his time have been better spent teaching how to live one’s life apart from his Father’s instructions? Oh wait, Christians have an answer to that question as well (I also used this defense):
Imputation.
“J-sus” imputed his righteousness upon us, so it is unnecessary to know or be taught how to live in righteousness or learn what it means to be a righteous person (I mean, at this point, what’s the purpose of reading the Bible at all?). All we have to do is believe in this mythical and mystical “J-sus”, and then presto! He gives us his righteousness whereupon we do not have to obey the Father or anything at all and we get to go to Heaven when we die. How cool is that?
The Messiah was really wasting his time (and his breath) by expanding on the Torah’s true meaning with the Sermon on the Mount (Matthew 5-7) showing that obedience is not just about outward action but the heart’s intention. So silly.
Or, why even labor to debate the Pharisees (Mark 7:1-13)? Shame on him for confronting traditions that nullify Torah, not Torah itself.
What about promoting the Greatest Commandments (Matthew 22:36-40)? How dumb to summarize the whole purpose of the Torah: love for Yahweh and love for one another.
And that’s just scratching the surface! I haven’t even touched on the poor apostles who were Torah observant and keeping Sabbath for over ten years post-execution (up until their deaths, actually). How dumb was that?
Since nullifying his Father’s Laws was end-game, I feel really sad that Yahshua wasted so much of his life interpreting his Father’s instructions (Torah), defending his Father’s instructions (Torah), and correcting misunderstandings about his Father’s instructions (Torah). It’s really too bad that the reality of Messiah’s teachings were not actually anti-Torah but anti-hypocrisy—He shouldn’t have been calling for true obedience, but lawlessness. Ammirite?
Will You Pass or Fail the Test?
Hopefully you can see at this point why I have been using America’s L-rd & Savior, J-sus in quotes and not the Messiah’s true name, Joshua. Why? Because Joshua would neverrrrrrr… Now, does the True Messiah give us salvific righteousness? Absolutely. When we get that, we crave to obey the Father (hint: when you accept a false messiah, you use a cop-out to pursue righteousness as Yahweh designated- that’s the fruit of idolatry). Following the True Messiah, we hunger and thirst for righteousness. We want to know what it is, so we seek it out, thereby leading us to study Joshua’s life and eventually walking it out like he did.
We do.
We obey the Father’s righteous instructions, and this is righteousness to us (His words in Deut. 6:25).
With that in mind, let’s talk about the wide and destructive path the religious world is on. Have you ever wondered what Messiah meant when he talked about the broad path? We can find the answer if we study his Father’s instructions found in Deuteronomy 13:1-3, where Yahweh explicitly states that He sends false prophets who perform signs and wonders as a test to see whether the people will remain loyal to Him. The passage warns that even if a prophet’s predictions come true, if they encourage worship of other gods, they are to be rejected and put to death.
Don’t you find it odd that an entire religious system calls its followers to worship a “son” and not the Creator? A “son” who leads the charge away from the Father’s good instructions? Wouldn’t this fall right in line with the warning in Deuteronomy 13– a being who claims to be light, has world wide worship, claims to BE “god” himself, performs signs and wonders, and who tells you NOT to worship the Father, and again, to not keep the Father’s commandments? Doesn’t it seem oddly and eerily similar to what Yahweh implemented in his “test”?
Take a big step back and look with a bird’s eye view at this Christianity and ask without bias: could this have been permitted or orchestrated by Yahweh as a grand test to see who would truly follow His supreme laws versus those who are led astray? Isn’t this something we should ALL contemplate? That Christianity was allowed, manipulated, or outright created to establish a global religion that would lead people away from the true divine law?
It must be and should be considered that Christianity was never meant to be a path to salvation but rather a Trojan horse designed to pacify rebellious populations and ultimately set up a lawless spiritual system.
A Trojan Horse for Lawlessness?
Another aspect of this focuses on the theological shift that Christianity introduced. Before Christianity, religious practice to Yahweh revolved around adherence to His instructions, His right rulings for humanity that consist of moral, dietary, and legal laws that govern every aspect of life for the utmost best. Christianity, particularly through the twisted teachings of Paul (and eventually Martin Luther) claimed that the law was no longer necessary, and that faith alone was the key to salvation. This shift removed personal responsibility for sin and created a religion where people could break divine laws but still claim salvation through belief in a Greco Roman messiah named, “J-sus” (imagine a Jew/Hebrew following a Greek Roman messiah who lets you eat pork and shellfish, work on Shabbat and be a polytheist… Rome really knew how to stick it to the Hebrews! But the Gentiles? They lapped it up like thirsty dogs!).
This was a radical departure from Yahweh’s instructions, which require discipline and obedience to divine commandments (which are not a burden!). By removing legal obligations, Christianity essentially became a lawless religion, allowing it to spread more easily since it did not require converts to change their daily lifestyles in the same way it would for Israelites. Some believe this was deliberate, a way to weaken the concept of divine law and replace it with a more passive, controllable belief system.
The Pagan Set Up
Think about what was just said and thoughtfully consider (with research) the roadmap it would take. Could it involve a gestation of a significant number of pagan traditions that were conceived from Roman, Greek, and Egyptian religions?
Consider all the trappings and stories of “J-sus” born during Christmas (winter solstice), the involvement of a mythical omnipresent santa, Jeremiah’s trees of gold and silver in every home. Then, consider the next “holy” holiday the world celebrates where substituting His death with Easter and representing it with bunnies and eggs takes place with great enthusiasm (spring fertility rituals). Consider weekly “worship” on the venerable day of the Sun and not Yahweh’s 7th day– all of it, not just what’s mentioned here, but all of the traditions claimed in the name of “christ” that are NOT ordained by YAHWEH, directly adapted from pagan festivals. The plain hard truth shows that Christianity is more of a synthesis of religious traditions than revelation.
The evidence presents clearly enough in my opinion, that erasing any type of divine law coupled with borrowing elements from existing religions to make it more appealing helped Christianity spread rapidly across the Roman Empire. It unified people under a single state-approved religious system where hundreds of years later, give that system huge tax breaks, with money funneling to the top, and voila! You have a worship/business center on every street corner.
The Ultimate Goal: Global Religious Control?
Over the centuries, it’s not really surprising then, that Christianity grew into one of the most powerful institutions in history, with the Catholic Church controlling kings, governments, and even wars. Some scholars (who don’t even deeply study Yahweh’s Deuteronomy 13 test, no less) might even argue that this was always the plan—to create a world-spanning religious empire that could be used to manipulate populations. That this Greek Western Church dictated morality, controlled vast amounts of land and wealth, and even launched the Crusades and Inquisitions to eliminate religious opposition demonstrates its immense power, shaping centuries of religious and cultural history while suppressing dissenting true Biblical beliefs that challenged its authority.
And even though, over time, Christianity splintered into 50,000+ denominations (Revelation 17:5), it all the while remained dominant, with each branch still teaching variations of the same fundamental doctrines that removes the importance of Yahweh’s divine law. Some theorists (like me) believe that Christianity will be ultimately used to prepare the world for a future one-world religious system, where spiritual beliefs would be centralized under elite control in accordance with Yahweh’s prophecy.
Whether this will fully materialize remains to be seen, as it is my opinion. However, regardless of what people claim, historical evidence clearly shows that Christianity has always been a mental assent only religion that is deeply intertwined with pagan traditions birthed by an anti-Semitic Roman Empire (and not an instructional, law-based system the scriptures teach backed by the Son of Elohim).
What’s more, when examined through the lens of Yahweh’s Deuteronomy 13 test, which warns against following prophets or teachers who lead people away from His commandments, Christianity itself appears to fit the very deception foretold in that passage. For anyone advocating Christianity, this should raise serious questions about its true origins—especially for those who preach it and profit from it (yes, I’m talking to you, Sunday pastors).
Just ask this question in your heart: could it really be that the story of a messiah named “J-sus” was supernaturally manufactured as part of Yahweh’s world stage grand strategy? Just take a finger and trace its lineage. It’s not hard to do. Haven’t you ever wondered how an evolving religion gained so much power through historical circumstances when it’s supposed to be the narrow way? The fact remains that its transformation into the world’s largest religion—one that solely contradicts the Creator’s laws and claims “His Son” does the same, underscores a deliberate shift away from true religion and promotes a faith that nullifies His laws while attributing this contradiction to His very own Son!
The Example of Joshua
“Whoever says he abides in Him ought to walk in the same way in which He walked.” (1 John 2:6)
Since we can’t change what’s been done, what can we do? Well, we can look to the first-century believers—both Jewish and Gentile—with Paul’s help when you don’t twist his letters to your own destruction, and know that they understood Torah to be foundational to their faith. Acts 15 shows that Gentile believers were expected to grow in Torah (Acts 15:21), not discard it. However, let’s take a deeper look into history and see what really happened:
1. Destruction of the Temple (70 CE): Without the Temple, Rabbinic Judaism restructured itself, and believers in Joshua were increasingly viewed as outsiders (let’s remind ourselves that the apostles were still offering sacrifices after Messiah’s execution (Acts 21:26).
2. Rise of Rome’s Christianity: The Roman church, under Constantine (325 CE), enforced Christianity where it cut away anything Hebrew (please read historical documents on this). He declared that Christian practices should have no connection to “the detestable Jewish crowd” whereupon he later enforced laws that forbade Yahweh’s customs such as Sabbath observance, Passover on the biblical date, and circumcision, solidifying a shift away from the Torah-based traditions of early believers.
3. The Council of Laodicea (363-364 CE): Sabbath-keeping was officially outlawed in favor of Sunday worship. This was issued Canon 29, which explicitly forbade believers from resting on the Sabbath (Saturday) and instead required them to work on that day, while honoring Sunday as the L-rd’s (Baal) day. This decree was part of a broader effort to distance Christianity from Biblically Hebrew practices and reinforce the Roman Church’s authority in establishing doctrinal observances.
From that time forward, Torah observance was framed as obsolete—even though Joshua and the apostles never taught such a thing. Did not Paul warn that ravenous wolves would soon come to ravage the flock? That great apostasy would take place? The falling away from the truth of the Father (Gal. 1:6)? If the Greek word parapeteó (παραπατέω) means to walk, conduct oneself, or live out a way of life, why does Christianity not walk as the TRUE Messiah did?
The Messiah we need to emulate walked in obedience to the Holy Scriptures (Sabbaths, feasts, dietary laws, and teaching others to do likewise) and we need to be on high alert for any belief stream of a globally sanctioned religious system that emphasizes cheap grace over law, manmade tradition over scripture, and a pseudo-spiritual authority over eternal commandments, thus reshaping TRUE faith’s foundational narrative! We must aim to pass Yahweh’s test, “resisting unto blood, striving against sin (lawbreaking).” Hebrews 12:4
Let’s recap what this means in 2025 and wrap this all up in order that I give your eyeballs a rest on this very lengthy article 😉 —
1. Keeping the Appointed Times – Observing the feasts of Yahweh (Leviticus 23) connects us with the prophetic fulfillment in Joshua. Passover, Unleavened Bread, and Shavuot (Pentecost) deepen our understanding of redemption, just as Sukkot points to the coming Kingdom.
2. Honoring the Sabbath – In a world of endless busyness, the Sabbath is a divine gift of a weekly holiday of rest and realignment with Yahweh. It is a weekly reminder that we are not slaves to the world’s system just as Joshua wasn’t.
3. Eating Biblically Clean – Following Yahweh’s dietary laws (Leviticus 11) is about wisdom and love—our bodies are the temple of the Spirit, and He has given us instructions on what is food and what is not food in order that we care for ourselves properly. Unclean animals were/are not “classified” as “food”.
4. Living Set-Apart Lives – Walking in Torah means striving for holiness, not “salvation” in the Christian sense. This affects our speech, our business dealings, and our relationships. We do not follow the moral decay of the culture but live according to Yahweh’s eternal and established-in-the-heavens wisdom.
5. Teaching the Next Generation – Deuteronomy 6:7 commands us to teach Yahweh’s instructions to our children. We must actively pass on the truth so that future generations walk in His ways.
Messiah did not come to end Torah but to teach it rightly (the religious leaders of Joshua’s time did not keep it or teach it rightly) and if we claim to follow Him, we must walk as He walked—not according to human traditions, but according to the eternal instructions of Yahweh.
Historically, as this post has shown, Christianity was constructed, whether you want to say by Yahweh’s testing, Roman influence and/or misunderstandings of Paul’s letters, it is up to you to do the legwork and make a decision. But today, in 2025, if you hold to the Holy Scriptures (not just some of it, but ALL of it) we have the opportunity to return to the ancient paths (Jeremiah 6:16) and restore the walk of faith as Joshua of Nazareth modeled.
“Blessed are those whose way is blameless, who walk in the Torah of Yahweh.” (Psalm 119:1)
It is beyond time to walk as He walked.

If you aren’t under the Law, then you don’t understand why Messiah fulfilled it and why He placed you under it as per His example…
Thank you for your comment! When you say, “He placed you under it per His example…” I’m taking that as you saying he himself was under law? That would actually be incorrect as Messiah was never “under the law”. Unfortunately, in Christianity that phrase is taught in the sense that it means “keeping the law” when it does not. The Greek phrase “under the law” (hupo nomon, ὑπὸ νόμον) means being subject to the death penalty of the law due to disobedience- it does not mean living in obedience to the law. Messiah never disobeyed his Father’s instructions and THAT is his example. When Messiah redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us as Gal. 3:13 specifies, that happened because WE broke his Father’s laws, and he paid the penalty for that. Also, fulfilled means to bring to its fullest expression, not cessation. When Messiah paid our penalty, he paid it not so that we can continue to break his Fathers laws thereby trampling that sacrifice, but to restore what Adam broke in the garden, whereby we can obey our Creators instructions out of love and gratitude. Shalom!
